Cubalatinproperties.com
is an internet service for Real Estate buyers and sellers
with a presence in the spanish speaking latin market.
The
Real Estate market in the country of Cuba will one day offer
numerous investment opportunities, but at present, under the
existing four decades old communist form of government, investment
is highly risky. United States citizens by law are not allowed
to do business in Cuba. All properties are under Cuban government
control and there are no Human Rights in the country of Cuba
much less Property Rights. As Real Estate brokers licensed
in Florida, with over 25 years experience in the UU. SS. market
and another 25 years in the Cuban market JAS Properties Marketing
corp. is in a position to offer a wide range of Real Estate
consulting services.

Expropriated properties
In
greater number Cuba has expropriated more properties from U.
S. citizens than from any other country without payment of any
compensation. Claims in an increasing rate are being prepared
by Florida attorneys to recover commercial, farm, and industrial
properties in Cuba. There are no claims being made for residential
properties since all available housing in Cuba is occupied and
in deplorable conditions due to lack of maintenance.
Since
the begining of the month of May 2003 U.S. and Cuba diplomatic
relations have fallen to an all time low showing a willingnes
on the part of Washington to pressure the Cuban government
as requested for many years by the Cuban exiled community.
Coincidental with the socialist governments, and groups from
the European Community who are now learning the hard
way is no good busines to do business with the four decades
old Cuban dictatorship.

Guerrilla
activity moving now towards most cities in Colombia make that
market very unstable. Some residents there are taking advantage
of opportunities created by many moving away to other countries.
Venezuela:
A country divided at the center between an elected government
leading the country towards a Communist-Socialist sytem and
the traditional Democratic governing classes who form several
different parties. Have placed the country in a total caos
after a general strike that lasted over a month. The government
during the last strike led mediators and opponents to believe
they were going to meet or negotiate demands, but after public
pressure
and the strike ended the government took a different non negotiating
attitud. A large number of Venezuelans own property in the
U.S. since Venezuela has been one of the main oil suppliers
to the U.S. and mayor trading partner. Real Estate in Venezuela
is not at present a sound investment.
Dominican Republic: Its territory
shares the island it is in with Haiti, the poorest country
in this hemisphere. However
Dominican Republic gifted with a highly fertile soil and agriculture
production is one the best in the area and exports to the
U S. and other countries. It is presently undergoing impresive
upgrades in its infrastructure without incurring in excesive
foreing debth. Spain and other European countries have made
investments in the tourism industry
Dominicans who years ago moved to U.S. looking for better
opportunities at their time to retire look to returning to
their country and invest. Their democratic form of government
has been very stable for a number of years making this country
an excellent investment opportunity.
