30 Parrot Jungle Island: Anta’s Kung Fu demo teams perform at Parrot Jungle Island’s Trick or Beak Halloween celebration. The Lion Dance, Matrix, Sai and Fan Teams performed. Also performing for the first time was the Kill Bill Pak Mai skit. This was the second time this year that Anta’s Demo Team is invited to Parrot Jungle Island.

16 4th Annual Project Action Kick-A-Thon: Anta’s Fitness and Self Defense students help break the world’s kicking record that they set last year. A proclamation from the State of Florida was presented to the school. Performing in this event were the Doral Middle Dancers for the third year, Doral Middle Cheerleaders, Lion Dance, Matrix, Little Ninjas, Fan, Sai, Arnis and Haganah F.I.G.H.T. teams. Special guest were Uncle Wing Mr. Anta’s Tai Chi instructor, Robert Van Name City Council, Pastor Steve Alessi Metro life Worship Center, Bill Watts WDF/community leader, Jackeline Alers Doral Airport West Chamber of Commerce, Felipe Madrigal YMCA and Pepe the Parrot, Parrot Jungle Island. Officer Anthony Callen of the Miami Beach Police finger printed all children in attendance. Miami Dade Police brought the simulated Helicopter for the 3rd year in a row.
