Logo
Since this company specializes in aviation related services, I thought it fitting that its logo reflec this theme. As a result, my initial sketches depicted designs which included airplanes and clouds. I tried different shapes of airplanes, with views from different angles, with propellers, without propellers, with clouds, without clouds, and with different types of fonts. Ultimately, the company selected No. 27, with its Art Deco style of font.
Printed Materials
Once the initial logo on a white background was selected, it began to be used for printed items such as business cards, and corporate brochures.
Logo On A Black Background
Eventually the company's CEO decided to have t-shirts printed with the TS Aviation logo on the breast. But he needed for the shirts to be black. So I went ahead and created more designs with color schemes that would contrast against a black background. Once one of these color schemes was selected as the final logo, it was then sent of to the printers so that they can create embroideries based on the new design.
Additional Uses
In addition to its use on company t-shirts, the TS Aviation logo with a black background has alos beens used on items like instrument cases for some of this companies' specialized scientific equipment. |
